The kitchen area allows for plenty of room to whip up a family favorite meal. With updated fixtures and amenities, including a double-door stainless-steel refrigerator, double stoves, double ovens, a large island, dishwasher, and plenty of prep space, the kitchen will accommodate any chef’s dream. Gather your family in the living area, complete with a leather sofa and armchair seating, and large screen television.
The Old Man and the Sea is a family friendly home, with the pirate-themed arcade game with 3500 + games for them to pass the time. With six bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, four built-in bunks in the bunk room, and a comfortable sofa bed, this home can accommodate a total of eighteen people.
In addition to the two-minute 6-seater golf cart drive to the beach, guests have access to a nicely designed beach access at Pompano Joe’s with restrooms and showers. We also love that you can grab drinks from the built-in mini cooler before you go.
There is a community pool, which is heated starting November 15th, right across the street. It’s a perfect space for cookouts, with Green Egg charcoal grills, for cooling off in the pool, or simply letting the kids splash away while the adults hang out within range of little ones. Watch sports, movies and more on the big screen TV’s while you lounge in the comfortable couches under the covered area. Guests are also welcome to fish in the community pond behind the pool area (catch and release).
With the larger groups, comes different tastes, and there are so many activities in the area to take advantage of! LOCATION is one of our favorite things about this home, being so close to the beach for easy access each day. For a perfect beach vacation, rent an electric scooter or bike from eMotion located a few blocks from the home. Once you have a scooter or bike, easily access Scenic 98 and cruise all along the beach checking out all of the opportunities Miramar Beach has to offer. This is definitely a game-changer when it comes to easy access and fun for all!
Another personal favorite – Enjoy a meal at the Royal Palm Grille, a restaurant and beach bar that offers sushi, seafood, American food, and a full bar. Our personal favorites are the fresh shucked gulf oysters, any of the sushi rolls and of course, the oh-so-delicious, filet! This laid-back restaurant offers something for everyone and definitely knows how to treat a guest. You can dine inside or dine on the outdoor deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, taking in all of the salt air you can. Royal Palm Grille also offers best of the beach with free public beach bonfires every Monday and Friday evenings at sunset. Grab a cocktail and make lasting memories as the sun goes down!
