Scenic 98
Another long stretch of pavement is the route known as Scenic Hwy 98, a highway that runs parallel to Hwy 98/Emerald Coast Parkway but along the waters edge. Sidewalks line the road for walkers and bikers to share as you venture past small local businesses, condos, beach homes, and views of our Emerald Coast. Plan for this route to have more pedestrians than most, as this is a direct route to the beach from many condos and rental homes in that area.

Bike Trail Along 30A
Also known as the The Timpoochee Trail, this route stretches almost 20 miles running from Dune Allen at it’s western end all the way east to Rosemary Beach. The entire path is paved and separated from the roadway, making it a highlight for bike enthusiasts. You’ll get to see many coastal lakes, live oaks, magnolias and more as you trek along our coastline.  This will also take you through a variety of the 30a beach towns, so this is the perfect trail for explorers.
